The Northern Light is designed as an extremely
lightweight, strong and spacious ski mountaineering and ski
touring tent. Using two sets of skis and one set of ski sticks
as tent poles, this single-skinned tent is easily and quickly
erected, providing ample accommodation for two skiers plus
equipment.
This is a specialist tent for use in snow, where weight and
the ability to withstand extreme conditions are of prime importance.
A lightweight expedition version is produced for trips in
which minimum weight is essential.
The Northern Light is based on a highly strong and rigid
pyramid design with a large, extended vestibule. Several drying
lines can be quickly fitted inside the tent so as to keep
clothing off the ground.
